Early days with our RDR-HXD860 - has anyone figured out a way to stop or cancel a recording while recording?

I've tried every logical and illogical tactic and failed.

'Helpful' dealer said try pulling the mains plug out of the wall. Great.

Any clues out there?

From memory, I think you bring it out of stand-by (if required, using on/off) then a press the red "rec stop" button - that should do the trick for recordings in-progress.

To cancel a recording in the timer list, go into the EPG, select the programme and cancel.
