Hi, quick question. My friend wants to get his daughter a contract phone but was wondering if you can place some type of bill cap with O2. She's 16 and he's afraid of getting it for her and a £500 phonebill coming in at the end of the month lol

Whats wrong with O2 online? 1000 texts for a £30 top up a month and when she has used all 1000 texts and £30 then tough she has to wait until next month No nasty bills

It would be much better to go for pay as you go. Bill capping doesn't work reliably , and if she isn't trustworthy you run the risk of a bill.

O2 cannot apply usage limits. CPW can however if you don't want to risk high bills don't give contract phones to sprogs.

Cheers.

I'd recommend O2 online pay as you go for a teenager if she kills the 1000 free texts she still has £30 credit to get through. Also the O2 Online SIMs are very easy to get hold of as O2 give them away quite often.
