Some basic questions about Ipod/Shuffle

Or whatever it is called.

It's supposed to be the smallest mp3-player in the world...

I never had an mp3 player before.
Yesterday I tried to connect it to the computer, like a USB, but nothing "happened". I couldnt "find" it.

Do I need to install that Itunes-thing first???

And can I copy songs from normal music CDs and put them on the Ipod?

Thanks in advance...

yes you do need to install iTunes in order for your pc to recognize the ipod & for you to be able to upload your music onto it. there is third party software available but i'd stick to iTunes if it were me.

you can put any mp3's onto it from any source, so yes you can rip all your cd's & put them onto your new iPod

I got one a while ago, extremely good, as you'll soon find out! iTunes is easy to use, so you should have no trouble
