Do All Samsungs Have Crappy Signal?

Well in areas where signal isn't the best anyway? I had an old d500 and according to orange I live in quite a strong signal area so should be getting a good 4 bars anyway but all I was getting was 1 bar at best

Just 2 wks ago I got an e900 which is doing the same, It very rarely shows one bar, most of the time it just sits saying no signal.

I phoned Orange and they told me to try a Sony Ericsson so I got a K800i and wow!! Signal always between 2-5 bars signal, how odd it is to have a mobile that I can use to make calls at home

Where i live my E900 gets 6 bars all the time sometimes drops to 5 or 4 then goes back up to 6 again within seconds. The phone is on O2

But then all networks get a full signal here

the d500 was a buggy phone anyway may be why you have been having trouble

Me and my gf both have T-Mobile and her signal on her Samsung D600 is just as good as mine which is on a Nokia 6230i

Sitting on my sofa right now my D500 is getting a good 4 bars on O2. I don't find it a buggy phone atall. I have 2 Nokia 6310i - reportedly the best for reception - and I can't get any Orange signal on either of them indoors. If I walk a few hundred yards down the road the signal is great.

Must be Orange then not the phone. If I put my voda SIM in my Nokia 6230 I get next to nothing at home but if I put the same SIM in my 6230i I get almost full signal. However it can't be the old 6230 as all other networks are fine in it.

No, not all Samsungs are poor like that.

I have an A800 which is truly awful, you only have to slightly touch the antenna and you lose service. Then it will take a while to log on to the network again.

I also have a D600 which is just great.

I went off Nokias a while ago

my D600 has full bars on it pretty much all the time at home

if i sit on the top of my landing though sometimes i get "limited service"

the signal frequently drops completely in town, around marks & sparks & in whsmiths
otherwise i've got 3/4/5 bars
my e700 (which i still love till this day) always had a signal wherever i was

i could strangle somone for the "white screen" issue
really could, loved that phone
