TV, DVD, Sky+ Connecting Help Required

Parents have new TV (HD ready) a sky+ box and a DVD recorder.

How do they all connect together? Dad is having trounle.

Is there a diagram anywhere?

It's ok, I have managed to find the website I wanted - it asks what equipment you have and then shows you a diagram.

If anyone is interested, it is

I know the website you refer to and it still appals me. It seems to assume that a VCR and a DVDR are equivalent pieces of equipment.

A VCR is ok connected via the Sky+ VCR scart, but if it's a DVDR you need it BETWEEN the Sky+ and the TV to get the RGB capabilities.

Yeah I agree, not all freeview boxes, especially the cheap ones, have two scart sockets, I even found the other day not all VCR's have two either.
