Well if you're going to NY, better leave the stones on, or you'll feel out of place

I am planning on tackling my weight and going on a massive diet. I am planning on trying to progress more in work.

Im hoping to stay more or less the same, except hoping to finally get a council house if they ever offer me one!

the only one thing i will try to do is concentrate on relationships more, put effort into them and try to make them work instead of always ruining them

I'm gonna be happier. Gonna stop thinking about my evil ex and how happy he is, gonna stop being hellbent on revenge on his new unsuspecting victim. I'm just gonna live life for me and hopefully a nice Mr Mangobird may come along!

Well i havent really thought about resolutions, but having looked at last year I think i might have to work of the following:

- get less stressed in my job
- go to fewer weddings (it ain't like wedding crashers, boys)
- watch more kung fu (Warrior kings out now is awesome)
- spend more time outdoors
- meet more girls (I gotta give more of them a chance)
- get a bigger telly screen (if I'm gonna waste all that time, it might as wel be more enjoyable)
- do the l'etape race in france, never got round to training enough for it this year.

now is you think this is shallow, its cos it probably is, but boys admit it, you'd be happy with a subesction of the above list

Two things I have put on my to-do list are...

-go to one of my dream destinations. Maybe Nepal?

-buy a piece of designer clothing.

I also want to pursue fun more

I'll probably just do the same as I always do

I'm giving up smoking for good. Baby coming in April, I don't want to be a smoker when she arrives.

And buy a season ticket for The Boro I reckon.

You're shallow, sir, but I like the cut of your jib. Hurrah!

2007 was my best school year due to me finding an interest in performing arts that I didn't have previously. Also in the summer, had fun in Matlock, and it's nearby theme park.

Ted, what's with regurgitating all these really old threads? Have you run out of ideas?

I would buy shares in Facebook and twitter and Microsoft before jumping back in my time machine and returning to 2017

2007? You mean I get to marry the wife again? Well, she is worth it.

Because it was relevant when the thread was created.

2007, i just split from my ex. But was still working with her. Planing a ferry trip with my brother to Amsterdam.

Who knew that my grandad would pass away three years later. Or id be finally out of my mothers house 18 months after that.

Or that id actually try to express myself as a transwoman......

2007 was a pretty happy year for me and one I'd love to return to if it were possible.
I was doing my NVQ 3 and a work placement at a pre-school where I had lots of fun. My grandparents were alive, I still had a relationship with my brother, I enjoyed the Formula 1 and life was generally pretty enjoyable. No year since then has been anything like as contented, and now ten years down the road, I've lost my health, my family and my love of F1. But still...hopefully better times are around the corner and who knows what the future holds for any of us?
