Someone please put me out of my misery

OK, I've decided to plump for an HD TV but there's so many to choose from....

Basic requirements are
True 1080p

Use for Sky HD; XBox 360; PS/3; PC; Movies (SD & HD)

Sound not an issue, will run through external AV

Cost not an issue but £2K is limit (give or take a bit)

Max 42" (due to height, its in front of a window)
Now, what I seem to have found is the following

Sony 40W2000 (current favourite)
Sony 40X2000
Sharp LC37XD1E

Any other suggestions/comments will be most welcome.

SAVE ME, PLEASE!!!!

That's quite a price range you have there - the 40X2000 is almost double the price of the Sharp LC37XD1E. The drawback of the Sharp for you would probably be the lack of a separate component input - the set is supplied with a component to VGA lead and they expect you to use the PC input socket for it. It does has 2 HDMI, 2 SCART and an SVHS socket as well but I suspect that you will want the additional input method. Though saving £500 - 800 might be sufficient incentive to do without?

I have the LC42XD1E on it's way and I am going to use a DVI>HDMI cable to connect my PC. That way I can plug my Xbox360 into the component at the same time and I'll be able to get 1080P on the PC (It only has 1080P through HDMI).
