The Vicar in White

At last the Vicar will attend a wedding in a dress, not a dog collar. Or will she? The Vicar chosen for the service seems a bit too fond of Geraldine

So whos looking forward to it? Can't believe its going to be the last one.

I'm hoping that she marries David

Can you remind me of what happened in the first one. It all seems such a long time ago now.

She comes to the town, because of her pop music obsession (she wants to watch TOTP) and since she's a woman, everyone wants to get rid of her.

yes, I reckon something's going to go a bit wrong, like maybe his 'sister' isn't actually his sister and she goes to the wedding stands up and we get another "It Should have Been MEE!"

Writer Richard Curtis is currently working on the final episodes, which are said to bring the series to a "conclusive" end after twelve years.

Peter Bennett-Jones, chairman of production company Tiger Aspect, refused to confirm rumours that the vicar would tie the knot but revealed that the final episode would end with "a big moment".

Did anyone notice in part one when Alice stole that stuff off the new bloke geraldine kept the kettle? I kept expecting him to go in the kitchen and recognise his own kettle - wonder if it will happen tonight

I can't wait.

It'll have to go some to beat the 1st part.

I'm still giggling over the "puddle" scene, the somersault over the gate, and his proposal and her reaction to it when she didn't understand ("*sigh* OK then - lets check some dates") and then again when she did...(bleurgh! bleurgh!)

Same here! I was rolling on the floor laughing, when 'Harry'proposed to Geraldine, and she didn't get the message.

No, she can't marry David! Just the thought spoils it for me. If there is any reason she doesn't marry Harry - especially if he turns out to be dishonest in any way - I will feel really cheated.

It will be the last episode. Of course it is possible it one day could return (we all know how many times we've heard the last episode line about other shows). But in this case this final episode is supposed to draw the show to a conclusion.

Loved it. And I'm not ashamed to say I'm now crying that it's all over.
