Just bought a new TV today which has integrated freeview (hope I'm posting this in the right place):

Sorry, don't know to make urls smaller anad tidier!

Anyway, the remote control that came with it is awful. It's like a brick in looks and weight. Does anybody know of an alternative that will work with this tv?
Thanks.

Hardily svelt but have you checked out the Kameleon? Be interested in your opinions of the Humax as i'm in the market for an LCD at the moment. It's going to be coax connected to my Sky box (2nd TV) but thought had crossed my mind to get one with an inbuilt freeview to have the best of both worlds. Haven't figured out If it's possible to have Sky via coax and freeview or If the picture quality etc. is good enough via coax but the thought is there.

Thanks for your replies. I replied to your other postspecifically about 23 inch tvs. But so far I'm pleased with the Humax Oh and I actually think the 23 inch is a nice too

Thanks for the links to the remote control. I remember about 10 years ago my mum replaced our remote (it had died) with one of these One for All remotes. It wasn't very good, unresponsive and kept losing the code to work with the tv. I'm guessing they've probably improved them?! Do you know if they work as well as original remotes?

Thanks for your help.

Depends on the remote I suppose.

First off I used ot have alot more 'boxes' so bought a 6 way remote until I had a clearout when I realised I hadn't listened to a CD for a year (all my music is now on my PC) or watched a video for about the same time.

I use my Kameleon 6 for turning the TV on then switch it over to Sky mode. It does everything that the Sky remote does once you've programmed it and you can add functions to unused keys eg. turning the TV to WS, 4:3 etc. without having to switch back to TV mode.
It also controls the PVR but I much prefere the key layout on Pioneers remote so use that instead.
The Kameleon is IMO one of the best on the market and does what it says on the tin and at the price Amazon are currently doing them... They do come in different configs. though so don't buy a 6 way If you only have 2 boxes to control.
