JVC DVD-HDD Video recorder need to make it multi-region
I've had the recorder for some time now and i love it brilliant machine highly recommend it, but i've only been able to play region 2 dvds and i want to crack it so it can play all regions, the DVD player/recorder is a DR-MH20S Also known as the DR-MH30S no difference apart from hard drive size, i do remember last year searching for a firmware disc that installs multi region firmware on the DVD recorder which then enables you of course watchs all the DVDs you like from around the world but i can't seem to find these sites. any ideas?

JVC DR-MH20S HDD upgrade
In response to the above post, try this.
Tried to upgrade the HDD in this today with a zeroed 300GB Seagate. Just got the 'loading' loop. Anyone succesfully done this? What is the biggest HDD it will accept and is there anything else to try? The DR-MH30S has a 160GB drive, I know. TIA |
