Advice on buying HDTV
If Freeview is already installed will I still be able to use the Sky + box ?
Does having freeview installed mean an aerial is no longer required or it that still needed? Do aerials have to be upgraded to handle the digital change ? Is it best to go for a Toshiba or Sony Bravia. Looking at the 32-37 WLT66 or 68 range on Toshiba or is the Sony a better TV for the difference in price? |

No significant issues with SKY and Freeview, if you use the SKY+ RF output you may need to tweak it so it doesn't clash with existing RF frequencies, not a big deal.
Freeview is the terrestrial digital service, an aerial is required. There is no such thing as a digital aerial but older types may not be suitable for picking up all 6 digital muxes and a more modern aerial might be required assuming you live in a good coverage area. Sometimes it's just a matter of trying and see ![]() Can't help you with the choice between the Tosh and Sony, doing a seatch for the two models may help or starting a new thread for that question. You can try the AVForums which has dedicated sections full of opinion on those displays. |
