VH1 Rock Weekend - Kurt and Courtney
There is a 1 hour interview on VH1 with Tommy Lee tonight and this is followed by the movie-documentary 'Kurt and Courtney' at 10pm.
Has anyone on DS seen this movie and is it any good ? I thought his Biggie and Tupac movie was interesting. |

Yes, I've seen it. It starts off well, but descends into the same trick Broomfield uses in every one of his documentaries I've seen - it becomes about him, and his film. There are some amusing nutters suggesting Courtney wanted Kurt dead, but nothing that is in any way credible. But there is a fairly extraordinary appearance by Courtney. As a film about Cobain, I don't think it told me anything new - or that Broomfield was even that interested in the subject. Of the ones I've seen by him, the Heidi Fleiss one was the best.

Is it the same one that was on MTV2 a month or two ago ?? If so, it was alright, but then again i've never been a huge fan.
