Freeview Ariel Setup?
Hi, I've just bought an LCD TV with integrated Freeview and was considering buying a DVD Recorder with Freeview built in, in order to record one channel while watching another. I'm just puzzled as to how both machines will pick up Freeview. I only have one connection coming from my outdoor ariel and was wondering how both machines will be able to pick up the signal? Apologies as I'm a newbie. Thanks in advance.

Simple. The DVD will have aerial in and out sockets just like an "old fashioned" VCR. So you connect the aerial to the RF IN socket and a (usually provided in the DVD box) short lead from the RF out socket to the TV's aerial socket.

I feel a bit silly now! Thanks for clearing that up for me. It was just one of those things I couldn't get my head around. Thanks again.
