Recommend me a wireless keyboard + mouse

Please can someone recommend me a good wireless keyboard and mouse for using with MCE (or any other media software for a PC under the TV) that can be used at least 3m from the PC?

(make, model, price, where I can get it from?)

Just tried my Microsoft Optical mouse 2.0 (a couple of years old IIRC) and it loses contact at around 1.5 /2 metres; as did my eyesight

so cannot be exact.
