hd question
are all hd ready tvs the same quality. I brought a 32" plasma 3 years ago for 2k and now you can pick up a hd for as little as £699 so are they all the same or do they have different specs. only asking as i have just brought a xbox 360.

Different specs for the prices but to be honest if you bouht a tv 3 years ago for 2k its going to have dropped in price significantly, probably the same spec nowadays would be £500/£600

There is a wide range of performance levels in LCD designs starting from the basic panel and then going on to the electronics the drive it and the scaling/de-interlacing chipsets that do the serious work.
You should be able to find a modern LCD that matches the performance of the £2k one for a much cheaper price but unless there is a fundemental issue with the current screen why change?
