Fantastic dancer, now know he can sing too, doesn't mind doing the cleaning and can cook. One night on Love Island I saw him prepare a meal from start to finish. Sounds like the perfect man to me

Male Dancer: first choice, Matthew Cutler, second choice, Ian Waite.

Female Dancer: Karen Hardy

Darren Bennett or Lilia Kopylova

Matthew Cutler is the best dancer there is without fail and has won more.

Ian obviously though that is cheating a bit as I already do.

He is a bit tall for me so Anton, Matthew or Darren.

Not into ladies as dancing partners though I think Camilla would be best.

Male dancer: James Jordan

female dancer: either Ola or Karen

Male dancer: definitely Vincent as I would want him to teach me the Argentine Tango!

Female (if I wasn't one myself): Flavia or Camilla.

Are you sure? I cant believe anyone is taller than Ian. Matt doesnt look taller when they are all together on SCD.

I dance regularly with John Byrnes and he is about 5.10 which for me is just about right for ballroom. Latin it doesnt matter heightwise. Possibly better to have someone taller than me to dance Latin with and for that Ian is great.

According to the bbc website their the same height - both are 6ft 2

Dont believe everything the BBC says. Ian is 6ft4. My hubby is 6ft1 and Ian is way taller than that and my youngest son is 6ft2 and Ian is taller than him.
Dont think Ian is sure how tall he is exactly but he is sure not 6ft2!
When I am dancing with him I am like a munchkin. I can not see over his shoulder at all so the focus is a bit tricky. He used at the beginning to pin a star on his jumper where he wanted me to focus. It worked!

I'm sure I'v read a couple of quotes by Ian, one of them in the OK mag article, where he said he was 6'3". But how tall does that make him in dance shoes I wonder? 6'4" or so? He said he was probably one of the tallest dancers in the world. I guess it's pretty unusual. Anyway, EJ ought to know, she dances with him, lucky lucky thing!

Also in the OK article Ian said he'd never danced with anyone short, and woul like to dance with Dawn French 'cos it would be a laugh! It sure would, and I bet she'd be up for it as well ( remember the thing she did with Darcy Bussel?). Careful what you wish for Ian! I'd love to see it, but not for SCD!

Ian has always said he would not be able to dance properly in SCD with someone short. He does teach children so he is used to dancing with all sizes. The problem is that it looks wrong for ballroom. There is no way it can be be elegant when he is 11 inches taller than me. In spite of being told to try to be like an elegant flower arching slightly backwards in a tall vase. Yes right! He tends not to notice that a munchkin doesnt do elegant!

I bet you're just being modest EJ, and I'm sure you look more elegant than you give yourself credit for. Mind you, when I was doing Salsa, the teacher was pretty tall and I felt a bit awkward dancing with him and I'm 5'6".
