That's what I thought about the lack of Dirk, ie that it was more than likely his choice. He said in the house about his son being over and how they hoped to get to a footy match and also how much he missed his sons, so even though we didn't see him too much at least it meant that he was enjoying his time here with his son.

I just really hope he comes back soon for some quality interviews that are about Dirk and it would be brilliant if he got to do a west end play. I think a few of us on here be after tickets for that.

oooh! I nearly forgot to mention...I was walking to town yesterday and passed a row of shops that included one that printed t-shirts, mugs etc. I did a double take because there were three mannequins in the window and the third one had a t-shirt on printed with the big brother eye on it and then Dirk Benedict printed in large capitals.

I completely agree.
If he had done most of his interviews straight after Big Brother it would mostly have been about Shilpa and Jade and the whole race row. I prefer to watch an interview with him about his new work when he comes to the UK again.

Also i bet he couldn't wait to get out of the country and back home to Montana. The British women on that show scared the hell out of him with all the burping, farting, swearing, arguing, their accents etc. lol . And i don't blame him for wanting to get out quick.

I think your right, he wanted to spend some time with his son didnt want to do interviews because he knew people only wanted to talk about the CBB shambles and and wanted to get back to his other son in montana

We have had 87,509 views so far to this forum is that a record? wooow

Ah, but it might be Dirk's dream to get married in an A-Team van!

Yes, the one on that web site was exactly the same van. They have a piece about Dirk arriving in it on the site somewhere! They also have an A-Team van for sale! However, the said van doesn't have a price tag! Mind you, the Knight Rider replica of KITT they have for sale is £45,000!

They also have a Dukes of Hazzard General Lee (no price) and the Starsky and Hutch Gran Torino at £15,500! To be honest, they're overpriced. If you search around enough, you'd (eventually) get the same cars cheaper elsewhere!

Hi everyone, another delurker here, wanted to add my appreciation to everyone who's contributed to this thread, I was reading it throughout CBB. Also to everyone who posted in the Dirk one liners thread.

Dirk really made CBB for me this year, he was fantastic, I could listen to his stories all day. And seeing him brought back memories of how much I liked him in the A-Team when I was about ten. Hope he comes back to England again soon.

Just by chance I found a copy of Kamikaze Cowboy in my local Waterstone's this afternoon, I'm over the moon and looking forward to getting stuck in this evening. Hope his other book is reprinted soon.

Can't wait to see him on our screens again.
But for now i will have to stick to watching the A team episodes and some Big Brother clips of our Dirk on you tube.”

No problem! For a real Dirk fest though, you could always buy the A-Team and Battlestar Galactica (including the movie) on DVD from Amazon!

Voting so far:

Dean Gaffney 46% (127 votes)
Carole Malone 53% (148 votes)”

Cheers for the info Susann, I am also a member...

It's weird, as it's only a week ago that CBB5 finished now. At the time I really liked Dirk , Jermaine, Shilpa and Ian, although most of that liking apart from Dirk was most likely heightened by the goings on in that house at the time. But now I am not really remotely interested in what any of them are up to apart from Dirk and possibly ken, such is Dirk's impact.

It's still good debating some of the other housemates who continue to milk their media appearances, but I have lost interest in them already. I would love to know what Dirk and possibly Ken are up to and that's it

I have to agree there, although in addition to Dirk, I'd still be interested in what Jermaine is currently up to as I have a lot of respect for him and his attitude.

Jermaine is coming to Devon on Sunday to start an anti-bullying campaign.

Sweet, sweet pic.

Even though I had a crush on Face whne I was about 4, I have to say I'm actually more drawn to Dirk c. 2007. Somehow he seems a bit sexier older.

Or is that just me?

No, I understand, when he was on the A-Team and Battlestar when I was a young teenager, he always seemed a little too smooth and I do like the older Dirk, although I'm now finding pictures of him younger that I'm finding myself drooling over (see above!!)

Just like Sean Connery, Dirk is like a fine wine which improves with age

He has definitely improved with age. But wasn't he just beautiful in his prime, he had such a pretty face.
But very rarely do i find a man in his 60's attractive so Dirk is a first for me.
