"And Dirk Benedicts performance is absolutely believable. He plays an average guy who suddenly gets the chance to enter the stand in the spotlight of show-business, and who starts to really like it. His lines are funny ("I did not want to play John Stryker anymore, all those Bang Boom Bang, that shooting in afternoon series like 'A-Team', that really pi**ed me off"), and he really delivers the tragic aspects of his character."

Have tuned into the 'JJ and The Coach' show to see what time Dirk's coming on, and they sound somewhere to the right of Fox News. Apparently Europeans smell because they don't use deodorant unlike Americans and the BBC are liberal lefties that excuse muslim terrorists. Heaven only knows how the Dirk interview will go

No mention has been made about DB being on today but guess it's a way off yet. Will post if I hear any word.

Dear God! He's incorrigible! It looks to be a god-awful film - but at least he's doing what he loves best in it, (if you'll excuse the pun!) I do NOT, however, want to see him parody himself.

I hope we get to see him in worthier efforts than this. Come on, Dirk! If you're serious about acting again, do something worthwhile. I don't believe for a second that no-one would offer him a good role. There's a lot of residual affection for him everywhere and with good reason. Such a sweet and funny guy! (It's 30 years on, Dirk. King Lear it is, then - as you always promised yourself.)

Montana is the fourth largest state in the Union, with, (I think), the third lowest density of population - less than 1m. They have a Democratic Governor at present but, given that it's a hard-working and self-sufficient state, (and probably quite insular), reliant upon agriculture, forestry and tourism, etc., I would suppose it's natural leanings are largely Republican. There are a lot of well-heeled people living there.

I visited Montana in 1992 and I adored it. We weren't there long enough and we didn't see enough. We visited Glacier National Park, which was breathtaking, and the Monument to the Battle of the Little Big Horn. We then headed off to Yellowstone. It's a glorious place and as I've always lived in the country and am always in raptures at the prospect of being in the mountains, I always make a bee-line for them. I felt very much at home there - so much so, that I could even appreciate the necessity of knowing how to handle a gun! There is no way I would condone the carrying of guns here at home.
