He's not been getting enough time on the highlights shows...he's calm, collected and doesn't shout like the others.

I think that Dirk is great. I was a massive A-Team and Battlestar Galactica fan when I was younger, and I thought that I would actually marry Dirk (perhaps a little unrealistic seeing as he was 30 when I was born). I was a litle concerned when I found out he was going in, as he was such a childhood hero, and I didn't want to find out he was really horrid - but I'm so glad he has gone in now. He seems really cool. Dirk to win!!! Hey lornapips Welcome to DS I'm a bit that we didn't see more of Dirk tonight (or Ken for that matter) Still, early days eh?It'll be interesting to see how he copes in the HND as a servant. |

The FaceMan... "no point moaning about the 'twist'... if you don't like it you should just walk, nothing to be gained by moaning about it... if you think the producers... *sound dip*" paraphrased |

He didn't seem to feature much on last nights coverage. Hope that this changes!

![]() And I don't usually fancy people on television or films (well, maybe Clive Owen). I have never really watched the A Team or anything he has been in, but he seems a really funny guy, good looking too, with a real sparkle in his eye. |

Dirk is indeed the man. He cracks me up. Seems very comfortable in his own skin and strikes me as a teeny bit bonkers too.

Page two million this was on..forget that...Dirk is funny and easy on the eye.
Loved him this morning when he said, about Jackiey farting, 'once is okay, twice is not too bad but threee times, that's a lifestyle choice.'

I wouldn't kick him out of bed, though he is old enough to be my dad quite a bit times over!

Dirk is my second favourite, after Cleo, and it would be great to see these two make it all the way through!

Dirk seems to be in good form today, I'm supposed to be writing an essay and instead have spent much of the day watching the live feed instead!

Dirk teh sagacious HM...
Housemates react to Ken's departure
Day 5, 17:55 UTC - by Neil Wilkes Once again the housemates have reacted with a relative calm to the news that one of their number has decided to quit the show. As head butler, Carole was required to deliver the news of Ken's departure to the group this afternoon. "He has made some wonderful friends and enjoyed his time in the house," she reported, "but this is the right decision for him at this time. Ken is looking forward to seeing everyone in the near future." Ian was quick to point out one immediate benefit of the loss - "no snoring!" - while Jo came to a different realisation: "You know what that means? We're getting new housemates because we've lost two." Carole said she was "very sad" that Ken had gone, but noted: "Ken's his own man, he's done what he wants to do." Meanwhile Jade recounted details of her prior argument with Ken over cheese. "You can ask Jo, it was beyond the acting," she said, referring to Ken playing the part of a lord for the task. "That argument took it out of him," Dirk suggested. "When you get older... you would have to go somewhere to recover. All that shouting is draining." DS News Good point Dirk

Love his official website, his forum has people from the US signing up for the live feed to watch him, he is a legend. I had no idea not having watched one second of the A team.
