Robin Thicke
Are there any Robin Thicke fans on here?
He's not big here, actually he's probably an unknown, but in Americas he's doing ok. Not a big name, but GREAT music! I'll post some vids of him later |

I know of Robin Thicke because of Will Young, Will liked his stuff and rang him up, then went to America to write with him and they came up with my favourite song off Friday's Child, "Very Kind", also "Madness" on Keep On. I bought Robin's single "When I Get You Alone" a few years ago, but I'm afraid I'm not really keen on the direction he's taken with his music now, I prefer the old Robin.

i have only heard of him in the six months.
concrete loop (blogsite)had a feature on him,and i loved his music ever since. The evolution of robin thicke has to be one of my fave albums of 2006 its such a pity that he isn't well known over here. |

I hadn't heard of him but I went to see Pharrell just before Christmas and Robin Thicke was the support act sort of, although he didn't sing any of his own songs just kinda sang along with Pharrell. My friend had heard of him though and she saw it on the poster outside the place where Pharrell was playing she she was like "ohh don't you remember this song" and started singing one of his songs, and I didn't recognise it

Yeah I wish he was bigger over here too.
TheEvolution of Robin Thicke is a WICKED album. I managed to get a hold of an advance copy of the albumw hich has a number of songs that didn't make the album (most in demo form). But one of the songs, Superman - is so effing brilliant. |

He has written with Will Young. "Very Kind" is one of the songs they collaborated on - it is great.

I think he's really good, very talented. Seems to be quite big in the U.S. Lets hope he does well over here too!

I can't stand him to be perfectly honest and judging by his song 'Lost Without u' he's a conceited fool too.

Judging by his latest song/video, his name is rhyming slang for 'oil slick.'

![]() ![]() His current single reminds me a bit of Craig David; bland, radio-friendly r'n'b influenced pop. |

Bit of an un-rock and roll name though, eh?

![]() http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=RTv_C4bBWVo&NR=1 I think Robin Thicke is great, the video for Lost Without You is beautiful... When I Get You Alone makes me want to dance, it makes me very happy when I hear it. I think The Evolution of Robin Thicke is one of the best albums I've heard or year (so far) |

PS - Would That Make You Love Me is also a great song. I saw Robin perform that on Oprah Winfrey show, and she was shaking her arse like nobody's business!

I got the Evolution of Robin Thicke a few months ago, it's sooo good
He doesn't seem as well known here. But the Times ran a feature article on him recently

He should have called it "Just how lucky are you?"
