iTunes question

I have a bunch of CDs in my library on iTunes, but I don't want to put all of them onto my Nano at any one time. I don't want to delete them from my library as I use iTunes to play music on my laptop. I thought that if you just unticked them then they wouldn't be included in the sync, but they are still on the ipod.

Can I opt to have tracks in my library but not on my ipod?

I'd suggest you make a playlist.

Add the tracks to it that you want on the ipod. Then in the ipod section, click the music tab > selected playlists and tick that list.

Then that's the only list of songs that get put onto the ipod.

The other option is to manually add tracks to your iPod by turning auto sync off.

Try selecting the ipod on the left, and then look for the option "Only sync checked items"

Just make sure you have that turned on :]
