I know people are probably sick of hearing and talking about her, but I didnt realise just how GREAT she is

Listening to Stronger than Me, her debut single, its pretty beautiful, seems that her earlier stuff is just as good as the new stuff.

Thumbs up to her, slated all the time, but shes VERY talented

She most certainly is. I've been listening to Back to Black and really love it. I remember The Sunday Times had an article on her when she brought out Frank. At the time, I wasn't interested, thinking that I wouldn't like anyone singing jazz - how wrong I was!!

I like her new song, and the video is beautiful. Don't think much of her personality, but then I don't have to talk to her while listening to her music.

I thought she was over-hyped when she first came out, then I heard "In my bed" and completely changed my mind. I really love 'Stronger than me', it is one of my favourite songs from that album.

I've heard everybody talking about Amy but I thought it was a load of hype so never bothered to listen to her stuff, but when I heard her on Jools Holland I instantly fell in love with her voice. She's a wonderful singer.

That would be the worst performance. Ever. Ever. Ever. Ever.

I was not a fan at all when she first came out- reports of her behaviour really put me off her, but when I saw her singing Rehab on Children In Need (was it CiN?) recently, I was extremely impressed!

Back To Black is probably the most played album on my iPod at the moment I'm so glad I eventually discovered her music.

Her recent appearance on Never Mind The Buzzcocks was the stuff of legend. She was completely out of it, as usual. Her surname is very apt.

She does have one of the strongest and most powerful female voices that I have heard for a while, though, and talent is the most important thing.

Pick up a copy of 'Frank' as well! A brilliant bit of modern jazz!
Completely different from 'Back to Black'

When I see her next month it will be interesting, because for the last 3 years shes been a very credible almost cult act, with a very loyal following. However since 'Rehab' now the teenby boppers might invade! and I'm not sure what they will make of her older stuff....or how she orchestrates some of her songs for gigs!

Weird, 'Rehab' is my least favourite song out of her entire back catalogue.

Even worse than her Jools Holland appearance at new year? That would take some beating.

Her rendition of the old reggae song was hilarious with her dancing, I've seen her sing on four TV shows all her performances were terrible, despite this I a big fan of her albums (I have both) which are excellent. Listening to "Just Friends" as I type.

I think if you don't like her live peformance you don't like her as an fully as an artist really.

As she has said herself many times shes all about the live stuff, and if she could would just playing live day in day out!

'Frank' as an album is over produced, Amy doesn't like it, and a few songs don't even resemble her voice at all.

Ironically I heard some of winehouse's stuff when she first came out and always thought she was talented and far superior to her bland and somewhat boring (supposed) nemisis Katie Mellua...

However, my current fascination with Amy's work has been thanks to the car crash aspect of her life! It really does prove that every now and the saying "no publicity is bad publicity" holds true, because but for her mad antics I would have overlooked just how brilliant she is...

A lot of people say her attitude is deplorable and she needs to sort herself out, but I personally find it highly entertaining! The following has become one of my favourite things on youtube, she is just so wasted! But her perfomance is still, well, sorta cool! http://youtube.com/watch?v=2vfdl7-E80Q

She is certainly and odd young lady (and without referring to her physique...) but she does have the talent to back it up, I hope she gets some recognition and big success if only to keep her around for a while!

Edit: For anyone who missed Amy on buzzcocks: http://youtube.com/watch?v=FIeZWbQGr...elated&search=

I think she's hilarious!
