I suppose Benidorm did well. Although it dipped from its debut it still averaged very well and it was consistently above the slot average. But then that's only one out of many - they've been struggling to fill that slot ever since the news was moved and the only time it ever comes in useful is when they have extended dramas or entertainment sows like BGT.

I still think moving the news back to 10pm is out of the question. BBC One owns that slot now and ITV News would make very little impact unless it were to coincide with a major (and much needed) revamp of the total ITV news output.

ITV1's ratings for last night were just shocking... they didn't even try to give BBC1 a fight in my opinion!

ITV1 had 20.9% of daily viewing on Wednesday. Yesterday, however, its share was just 16.2%, and between 8pm and 10.30pm it had only 12.6%, worse than Channel 4.

I heard they were tied with Goldenballs hosted by Jasper Carrot on ITV1.

Sounds painful but well deserved!

I don't expect Tycoon and Holiday Showdown to last the course in their current slots with those sort of numbers. Personally I'd move Tycoon to the earlier slot at 8pm.

They are probably dusting off repeats of Taggart and It Shouldn't Happen to a .... (insert soap star, presenter etc.) as we speak.

BB's ratings seem to be steadying around the 3.7m mark. Have Corrie's ratings suddenly gone down or have i missed this? Because the last time I saw them it was getting around 10m.

I think on Monday's the Corrie ratings are usually up on the other days.

Good ratings for EE... they're getting closer to Corrie. BB's ratings are not very good at all. The producers need to sort this out.

Something's really up with ITV when their Friday night repeat beats their new Tuesday and Thursday line up

EastEnders is indeed catching up with Corrie. Might give Corrie a kick up the backside now.

Would I Lie To You is sinking fast as well.

Nothing much will change for ITV until the X Factor comes back which I think is due in late July. Until then its a film plus Millionaire as the main stay of early evenings.

I'm not surprised that Tycoon isn't performing well.

It's dire and the moral is that ITV needs to stop copying shows.

Well, there is "Sing it Back" to come, which is a 3 week Saturday night music gameshow with JK & Joel.

Oh and of course "Baby Ballroom" with Kate Thornton.
