But tbf, that drama is up against an award winning recent film which is very topical at this time. I shall Sky + both but I am far more interested in the Queen than BBC's offering even though it is written by Mark Haddon.

I thought based on the title, that this was a follow up on Gryfh Rhys Jones Mountain series

Of course you are - because it's on BBC One.

Not to say the drama won't be brilliant, but if BBC One was showing a testcard I imagine you'd be watching it anyway.

I reckon The Queen will beat the Haddon drama 10m to 3m.

I think most people know The Queen is really about the Diana fall-out, so should thus pull a big crowd in.

And it's September, when people suddently start watching TV again...

Actually, this was the final episode of Blackadder Goes Forth, showing as part of a Stephen Fry Night.

It's a fantastic audience for something that wasn't separately promoted, and showing at 10.40pm on BBC4 on a Friday night in high summer.

I don't know why the BBC don't repeat this series on BBC1 - I think it was repeated on BBC2 a couple of years back and still pulled 4m.

It has been getting 5 1/2m for the last 2 Saturdays so I think you are a bit low with that guess!

No. All is says it that Show 1 got 5.6m and Show 2 got 5.7m. Nothing more really. You dont really get much deep statistical analysis in the People

I think about 7.5mil for 'The queen' with about a 30% share. 'Dumped' doesent look like it will attract a major audience so that poses little threat and the BBC 1 Sunday night slot never performs well ( regardless of the quality of the show ) so will be wasted, it's a shame because it looks like a cracking show and could get up to 6mil on a week night.

Good to see Coming Down the Mountain didn't do too bad. I was expecting a lot lower than that. I watched it, and enjoyed it. I Sky+ The Queen to get rid of the ads.

Edit: Thanks for posting GeorgeS and to everyone else who takes the time to post the ratings. It's much appreciated.
