Decent Ratings last night - Glad that Emmerdale hit the 8m up from tuesday's low of 7.7m - The Bill hit the 6m mark too - dissapointing ratings from New street Law but it was up against a big film premier.

guess for tonight

Emmerdale 8.2m
Eastenders 9.5m
The Bill 5.6m
Waterloo Road 5.1m
Hotel Babylon 5.3m
Bonkers 2.9m
Benidorm 3.4m
BBC News 4.8m

Do these figures include simultanious broadcasts on BBC HD? I watch Lillies but not on BBC1 as it is broadcast at the same time on BBC HD. And up until last week it clashed with something else so I watched the re-run on Tuesday night on BBC HD. Just wondering if the HD broadcasts are taken into account for a show's overall ratings.

Considering the number of people who have HD, I would have thought that it would make very little difference to the ratings.

Huge Overnight ratings for Hotel Babylon and Waterloo Road - Very pleased about that - both great dramas allthough next week Waterloo Road might fall because Wales have different programming for the hour - which is very annoying. But is shown on Friday night a 10:35pm !
Anyway it would e interesting to know what the Bill got against Waterloo Road both dramas have been close recently ! And a huge first look ratings for Hollyoaks !

Waterloo Road dropped 100,000 week on week. Not huge but certainly not "showing big increase"

If you say so. MediaGuardian was the source that said it declined week on week. I dont know if regional opt outs is a factor.
