Well it's crap this year. It's not a case of the contestants being boring as such..... It is a case of "I've seen this all before".

Apprentice Final Vs. BGT Vs. Big Brother. I'm sure the Apprentice will be out on top then BGT and I'm expecting Big Brother to end up with less than 2 million”

The only positive in all this for Channel 4 is that BGT only lasts for a short while.

Its the worst possible situation for Channel 4.

They did well against X Factor last year, but only because Big Brother was doing quite well at that point.

Unfortunately its not just now and so putting it up against BGT was just asking for trouble.

I have to agree. I've completely lost interest - I'm suffering from BB fatigue.

Do we know what BGT got? I'm sure it hammered BB looking at those ratings.

Isn't that brilliant? Especially since it had an incredibly weak lead-in from Trinny and Susannah. I expect it will take a bit of a knock tonight due to The Apprentice but should still hold its own.

Celebrity Masterchef is doing quite well for BBC1 in the 7pm slot. The BBC should really find a regular programme to show Mon-Fri at 7pm that is popular, not to compete with Emmerdale but just to offer a good strong alternative, and I don't mean the One Show which I think returns soon.

With regard to Emmerdale/Eastenders.I am trying to work out just what ITV is trying to achieve by continuing direct scheduling. Is it desperation? - ie trying to boost dwindling overall audience share. Are they perhaps trying to kill EE? -if so they will have to do it on other days too as EE's figures appear to rebound to their usual totals when there is no conflict.
The Beeb used to move EE to 8.00 when Emmerdale had a special but stopped doing this to prevent accusations of chasing ratings.I wonder if they will revert to that strategy if Emm continues with the hour long shows?

Regarding CSI: Miami are those repeats that are performing better than the rest of the Five schedule, excluding CSI, House?

Trying to improve its audience figures on Tuesday nights I would presume. Last Sunday & this one coming there was no Emmerdale due to F1.

I would guess a dead heat between the Apprentice & BGT of 6.5m each. Big Brother to get 2.1m

I'm having a guess of

The Apprentice 6.5m with a peak of 7.6m at 9:45
Britains Got Talent 5.8m
Big Brother 2.9m
