I assume that on the DVD recorder, one SCART is input and the other is output. Connect the VCR's SCART to the input socket, and connect the first SCART on the TV to the output socket. On the DVD recorder, you need to change its channel to the input socket to record from. You might also need to make sure the input is set to composite video, not RGB or s-video. PRess Play on the VCR and Record on the DVD recorder. The VCR playback should appear on the TV and it should be recorded at the same time to DVD.
There should be instructions in the DVD recorder's manual on how to connect an external device to record from. |

dvd-rec av1 to tv av1
video av1 to dvd-rec av2 to record from vhs to dvd is easy. on tv select dvd-rec channel. now flick through channels on dvd-rec until you get av1/input1 then you get av2/input2. this is the video channel. press play on video and watching telly you will see tape playing. simply press record on dvd player |
