GPRS costs on o2

I'm sorry if this is a really stupid question, but I've not used GPRS before, and was wondering how much it actually costs.

I know you get charged per meg, but how much exactly would that be, if i used it to connect to messenger, or any service like that. I assume if its going by meg then it wouldnt cost a lot. Am I right or not?

I think O2 charge about £4 per megabite, don't quote me on that though. I think that's roughly 1000 pages of text, so obviously will be less with pages with images and sounds etc.

You can buy a 4MB bolt-on for £5 on Pay & Go. See the Bolt-ons section on www.o2.co.uk for more info.

On pay as you go its £3 per megabyte. The bolt on is £4 for 5 megabyte. If you are O2 online you have a free allowance.
On contract it varies so you should check your tariff.
