Gotta give you that one. Janet Ellis's gold lame thing was awful.

LOL thanks, I just got a treatment and got it trimmed. Split ends were atrocious.

Russell Brand's hair is crazy
- something for the weekend sir?
- Yeah I want it to look like I've been dragged through a hedge.....then you can wash me ball bags

This dress is okay. I like the cut, but the colour is a bit dazzling. Washes her face and hair out completely.

I like the one she's wearning tonight, except the cuffs, but the cut is lovely. I think she carries the colour quite well though I know it's said blondes shouldn't wear yellow - at least that's what a brunette told me once when I was wearning it .

Got to agree with you Tasi, I thought that dress was awful, made her look a very peculiar shape. Surely she couldn't have looked in the mirror before she went on.

Funny yellow dress with increasingly bright red lipstick. Looks like an ill-advised DIY job.

I sympathize Chiaroscuro. I'm a brunette and have been told all my life that I should wear yellow and other bright colours, but I'm always happiest in browns and khakis which - have to face it they're right - don't really suit me. I hate bright colours though and think Tess's particular shade of yellow should only be seen on daffodils and bananas.

Must admit I did only ever have one yellow top and I don't wear it these days. I think Tess looked OK because she's tanned but pale skin, blonde hair and yellow is all a bit icky.

Hey, if you're happy in browns and khakis then stick with them. I work with a dark haired woman and chocolately browns and dark greens really suit her. I'm almost always in black or blue! I think if you wear a colour you don't like - regardless of whether people say it suits you - you just feel uncomfortable.

Goodness knows why, but every time I saw Tess in that yellow dress I kept thinking of Butterlicious

Her hair looks better too - much tidier. It suits her like that.

The dress tonight is an improvement; its slightly Egyptianesque I keep thinking she'll start dancing to Walk like an Egyptian...

I did wonder if she is pregnant. I don't know. But if she is the BBC wardrobe dept could do better.
