Cable into Sky Plus Box?

Hi

This is probably a stupid question and I'm guessing the answer is almost a certain no.

I am moving house today to a house that does not have a satellite dish but has cable with 2 wires which look the same as those which come from a satellite dish. I moved from an apartment which had a shared sky dish so we never got a dish with our decoder.

Will it work if I plug the cable into the Sky box? I don't want to just try it in case it damages the box and I want to check if it would work before I pay for a new dish.
