Please Help Conection Probs with sam26r74

Please could anyone help i have just bought a new pc and didnt realise that it only has a dvi monitor port , no vga.

I have no conection which matches this on the samsung 26r74 ?

i thought purchasing a pc to include the geforce 8800gts card i would ensure that i would have the best pic, but now i think i have made a big mistake

how best can i connect the two, and will i have a poorer picture compared to my old pc which i had hooked up via vga? to this set

Don't you just need a DVI to HDMI lead to connect to the Samsung? Whether you get a better picture or not depends on the resolution you had on your old set-up.

i didnt know that you could get such a cable , it says in the manual for the samsung that dvi does not support pc function , what does this mean?

the reason i asked aboult the picture quality is that when i read through previous forums on this model most people recomended the vga connection , although i thought dvi was surpost to be clearer?
