What are your views on this all in one player?

I recently purchased on and I am blown away by the sound and image quality, byt hey, I know nothing about DVD's!!

Also, is there a way to get the sound from the TV to go through the DVD speakers?
My TV is fairly old and only has one scart fitting, I also have to turn my Digital box (NTL) off so I can watch DVD's. Confused? I am..

I've got one of these great players too. I know a few reveiwers have been a bit snotty about it, saying its not as good as seperates, but hey how load can you have it on anyway before you have the police round!

Anyway mine's multiregion too! Check out http://www.linkonline.co.uk for info.

I asked sony the same question about the tv too - here is there reply

It is possible to link the two together using the audio outputs from the back of the Tv and connecting them into the video 1 inputs of the dvd player. You need a standard phono cable for this connection. I hope this helps.

Thanks for that info, I thought it may be something along those lines

Maybe one day, maybe not.

And yes I know what you mean about the volume!!

You may have a SCART lead with phono (RCA) ends on it
to connect the DVD to the TV. Make sure the lead has
audio L & R inputs and outputs. Connect the audio outs into
the aux/vcr input on the DVD and you should get prologic
sound, if the TV is nicam stereo.
Good luck.
