Transferring credit from orange to t-mobile

My brother and sister got new phones for Xmas a Samsung E900 and LG Chocolate. When my parents bought them, there had Orange network sim cards, but they want to use their old t-mobile sim cards, because we are all on t-mobile.

However they want to transfer the credit to this, my mum went back to the shop and they said to ask for an adviser, but when she tried callling 150 but you need 25p on the phone to start with, but they don't. Whats the easiest way to get around this?

Not doing it - because it can't be done! You can transfer your number from one network to another but not credit.

Really, listen to Jac Naylor. No matter what you think, no matter who tells you. It cannot be done. Numbers are fine, and most networks will transfer credit from one sim card to another sim card as long as it is on the same network (like you mobile was stolen or something).

As stated already it can't be done.

Wouldn't it have been easier to return the orange phones unopened and exchange them for T-Mobile?
I suppose you could always get the phones unlocked, but could have saved yourself all this bother.

Look I didn't buy the phones my parents did, I think t-mobile was available as a network when they bought them.

Thanks anyway

You should be able to get the LG unlocked, but you'll probably struggle with the Samsung.
