It can record analogue satellite, yes?

Can it record simultaneously both an analogue sat channel and a freeview channel?

How fast can it copy from hdd to dvd?

I can record one channel while watching another, yes?

Can the EPG/programme guide (whatever you call it) be programmed to record every Eastenders / Coronation Street episode with just one set-up command. (for my parents, I don't actually watch that c*ap )

Why are these other models so much more money? They have 160gb hdd’s, but that shouldn't be such a price premium these days, so what other extra features might they have?

Just wondered if anyone can confirm that the 2 SCART sockets on this machine are both RGB.

The Pioneer site says they are but the ones being sold on eBay say only one of the sockets is RGB.

I really need to confirm this before I buy as i bought a Liteon recorder as their site said both sockets are RGB when in fact only the output scart is.

Downloaded the manual and definitely 2 RGB SCART sockets so ordered one.

Iroda as far as I can tell the 540 only has the bigger HDD and the 545 has HDMI output in addition.
