Ipod games don't work

Hy, I downloaded some ipod games. But not from itunes. They load onto itunes, but they will not go onto my ipod, saying "You are not authorized to play them on this computer." Alternatives to itunes like ephpod and yamipod only seem to be for transfering song, so I can't use them. Can anyone help? Thanks.

In iTunes click on "iPod Games" in the source list (on the left of the iTunes window) and then double click on one of the games you have e.g. Pac Man.

Doing so will bring up a window asking you to type your iTunes Store account details.

Once entered your game(s) should copy to iPod on the next sync.

I'd suspect that they have a form of protection built in. If you want to play the games, the buy them.

Ah I missed that bit about "But not from iTunes".

You will need to purchase them to use them.

Thanks for the help anyway. I would get them from itunes, but am not prepared to pay £4 each. Especially since the Americans only have to pay $5! They are cheap games ported from other platforms or just things like sudoko. Hardly worth it. Thanks again anyway.
