converting 23.976 video to 25fps
I am trying to convert an avi which is 23.976 fps up to 25 fps to make PAL standard. I can get the video changed ok but i am having prblems getting the audio speed changed to match the video. I cant seem to get it to stay in sync. To make matters worse , the audio finishes around 30 secs before the videos does so i cant match up the times (which would be the easiest way). Are there any programs which do an accurate conversion?

I have been working a little with the same kind of thing and I think you should try this website for some inspiration:
www.doom9.org Here you will find a lot of help and advice on how to do such procedures. It all depends on what type of audio you have and how you want to convert it. But generally you have to squash the sound file so that it matches the faster frame rate of 25fps. |

TMPGEnc will output to an AVI file, select the video and audio files in the usually manner and then go to FILE/OUTPUT TO FILE and select AVI then choose which codec you want. |
