Naturally, it was seeing Hanna perform.

But aside from that, anything featuring the brilliance of the Cutlers. Everything else pales in comparison.

The AT by Vincent and Flavia, simply oustanding. And the Jive.

Totally agree:

Cha Cha Cha for the Pro group dance (it was HOT!)

Vincent and Flavia's AT for the Pro Couple dance (it was even HOTTER!)

The Jive was good but my favourite would be Vincent and Flavia's AT

Ugh! That was truly awful and ugly, and bore no relation to Dance as far as I could see.
Just gymnastics and acrobatics with a few random steps thrown in. If that's considered *world class* spare me!

I thought the Group Quickstep was such fun!
I loved the Men joshing together in the Opening, and the entry of the ladies, it looked like a real fun spontaneous peformance.

I also thought the Pros Fox Trot was absolutely beautiful, and ofcourse V&F's AT showdance was stunning.

The jive. Lots of fun.

ETA to give a shoutout to Karen/Brendan and Nicole/Matthew's Paso at the end of the pro dance in week 1. No shock at how good it was seeing as it featured the four people I find to be the most charismatic amongst the pros.

Oh no, not another person who doesn't understand the concepts of Exhibition.

Narrow minded people annoy me so much, no offense or anything.

Whether or not it was to anybody's personal preference, it is a fact that it was a superb performance, by Exhibition standards.

I don't care what anybody says, in comparison to other competitive couples, well . . . there IS no comparison.

It's not narrow minded to say that you didn't enjoy something. It'd be narrow minded if you refused to watch it in the first place... but having watched it, there's nothing wrong with giving an opinion on it.

I can appreciate the performance for what it was, but I just didn't enjoy it in comparison to the other forms of dance we saw on the show.

For example, can nobody see the body action, musicality and rhythmicality that Hanna posesses even in the simplest of movements? Look at her hips, look at the way she spins! That's not dancing!? Ha! Nobody does it better in the dancesport world!

I completely appreciate your opinion Becca and I'm sure there are many who'd agree, but it's not any more valid than that of anyone else here (not that you're saying it is). You enjoyed it and that's cool. Others didn't. It's no big deal. Other people prefer the musicality, rhythmicality etc of other people more. The subjective element of dance is part of the fun.

i thought the exhibition dance was amazing...those two are so good at what they do...i did prefer their series one exhibition though because i liked the raunchiness of it more

It's not just my opinion that Hanna is a better dancer than the others on the show though, she's regularly beaten the whole lot of them in competition and has been put in the well respected, high position that she's in right now by the best professionals and judges in the whole world. I don't call that subjective. It just speaks for itself.

I didn't like the first performance . . . the music was awful and didn't fit with the routine and I'd have much preferred it if the show had allowed them to use their usual track.

Because it was so out of time, the pair of them made so many obvious mistakes and I thought it really didn't show what they were capable of at all.

In full costume and with music, their Gladiator routine is absolutely spellbinding.

I'm sure there are plenty of dancers, gymnasts, ice skaters... hell, even rock/pop stars who have won high profile awards which are voted for by supposed experts. That doesn't mean we all have to like them or agree with the judges though.

It certainly doesn't, but on the other hand, what's the need to slag them off? I think the disrespect shown here for such a pair of talented artists is rather disgusting and offensive.
