Can anyone help.

when i take a pic on this phone i click the ok button. appears to take the photo about a second or two later, so if say its a person your taking the shot off they look at the camera you click ok they begin to turn away and the phone takes a pic you dont want. my friend has same phone and it does the same thing. tried changing focus settings etc but to no avail.

thanx Colin.

then it renders the camera almost useless on this phone.

anything moves and your wasting your time.

Samsung should state this camera phone is only useful for taking perfectly still images.

had the D600 before it and never had a prob.

So my recommendation is do not buy this silly phone.

the d900 its self is a good phone, its normal across the line for phones to have a second or 2 delay before a photo has been taken

Yep, most phones I've had always have a little delay, and I've played hell with people for moving when I take photos lol. The only phones that don't have a delay that I've used are Samsung E760 and my current phone, Sony Ericsson K750i.

Thanx for the replies.

Having spoken to Samsung they tell me its probably because i have the camera settings on Maximum.

They also said i should insert a micro sd card and free up some memory.

I got d900 as well but for me its fine, As soon i click on button for taking picture then it takes right away and not even sec delayed.

But i had same problem few months ago, then my brother changed some setting but i really don't know what he changed.

To get rid of the delay you have to set the camera to take photos at the size of 640x480 pixels.

I think its pretty stupid to do as theres no point of having a 3 megapixel camera phone and setting the image size to that ratio. I think this and the lack of skins (besides silver and black) are the only things wrong with what is a brilliant phone.
