W850i Query?!
Hi all.. got my W850i last week, and have only one small gripe with it...
When i close it, everything stays as it is, and the keypad doesn't lock, and it won't end a call... However, when i exit everything and close it, the auto keylock locks it all fine. Just wondering, is there a way i can make it end the call, and exit everything when i close it... The only gripe i have so far with the phone! Thanks David |

It really gets on my tits too!
biggest problem is the lock doesn't come on with any application running. As I keep my mobile in the pocket sometimes I manage to unlock the phone by mistake and end up going into camera or picture gallery. Would be handy if it locked like the good old nokia's after 1 min of no activity. I keep checking with the online upgrade service but I haven't got any yet. |

If you've had an SE 'candybar' phone, then you'll love the way this works.
I do, doesn't bother me in any way. It's the bloody 'light sensor' that does my head in

Yes, the thing that constantly dims and brightens the screen whenever you move the phone!

Makes no odds to my screen brightness when I expose the phone to light or dark. Even tried a torch directed at what you say is the sensor. |

However, do you have your screen brightness set to 100%? Go to a bright room and go onto the menu, then put your finger over the sensor at the top, the screen thens dims down, remove your finger and it will brighten again. |

Sometimes wich it was a signal led like the older models, as I hate having to unlock to see if I;ve got a signal |

Yes, i remember those, flashed green every few seconds to show you had a signal, or red if you didn't!
What version is yours? to access this press >*<<*<* (> = direction on D pad), go to Service Info, then Software Info. On the top line you should see something similar to 'R1ED001' |

Mine works too.
Ok so we can't close it to end a call, or exit all menus, but who cares when we have a really swish light sensor! lol!!! I hate mobile phones - Put a proper function, as handy as it is when it comes to burning my eyes in the middle of the night, the other function would still be better!! |

B) Close all menus? just hold the back button, why would you open it anyway to go on the menus? The keypad on mine only gets opened to send a text! |

I don't even understand why they've added the feature that answers when you open it!
