Hi all,

Right.

Having liaised with Senor Romance and Coronis, we are now on to the next stage. A little market research.

If we were to investigate the possibility of having a GMR Tee Shirt printed for Rampants, how many people would be interested in buying?

A few things:

We would need sufficient numbers.
Any photo/images used we would have to make sure we had permission/endorsement/meet copyright requirements.
Profits would go to charity, with accounting etc being transparent.
As mooted on another thread, we could have a caption competition on here to run for about 2 weeks (we can't do you've been tangoed!) to accompany the glorious image of GMR!

So, how many interested people out there? It could be a test run for other SCD luminaries (esp as Brendanites have expressed some interest too).

I am not an entrepreneur but excited by the prospect of being involved in this; am relying on Senor Romance for business/show bus acumen etc, and of course Rampants for a keen response!

Eek.. what have I let myself in for.

Sounds interesting Greengirl. Just a bit worried about the GMR lot and possible slogans - rather a forthright lot in there! *purses lips and looks disapproving*

I am sure the Brendanites will bring finesse and refinement to the proceedings though.

Oh - and do watch out for the crow - anything shiny and peck! it's gone.

As suggested on another thread, refined, dignified (but with a hint of sweaty goucho no doubt!).

As a Brendanite, I'd love a t-shirt and am sure the other Angel's would feel the same.....

Ok. We thought Brendan's following would be keen. When we've got some idea of numbers will number crunch then put up other threads.

I wouldn't buy one with a photo type picture. Much as I love Karen and that particular picture of her, I don't like her photo t-shirt one bit (and she supports it). I would be uneasy wearing something I don't feel MR would support.

A simple and clever slogan I may be interested in.

Yeah I'm the same as Kez wouldn't want a picture but like the idea of a cryptic message only fellow Rampants would understand!

That's why it is important to get permission/endorsment before going ahead with any of this.

I'm not so much thinking legal support, but genuinely happy about it - like a showman would be. Honestly, I'm not knocking the idea, just giving my reasons as to why I wouldn't buy one with a photo type picture.

Reality is I don't think you'll get it - sorry!

He has various sponsorships going on anyway and I think it may be a conflict of interests to that, I don't know how Surrey CC work but he is a TM to them.

To try and explain my situation a bit better - take a look at Darren and Lilias site. I'd love a Rampants logo on the front(like the red sploged D and L they use) with a catchy, cryptic slogan on the back of the T shirt. I dislike Darren and Lilias photos ones too.
