Samsung d900 email settings
Hi Folks,
Can anyone tell me how to set up email settings on my phone? I have seen this option on my phones before but never got around to it because it seemed so complicated... But I got this phone today and would really like to use the feature.... I am with BT for my email on the computer if that's any help?

Anyone at all?
I wouldn't normally carry on but I can't seem to find any help on it, and the manual doesn't help much.... And I know how wonderful the people of DS are....

the settings are not really for the phone, they are just general email settings.
You need your smtp username and password pop3 or imap4 username and password (the latter is better for mobiles if your isp supports it.) You get these from your isp, and they are the same as the settings used in Outlook or whatever email client you use on your computer. have a look on your mail provider's site. then you need the internet (not wap) gprs settings from your mobile provider. this depends on the network, but will be on their website. then you just put the bits in the boxes. the reason you haven't found anything is because these are two separate things. n |
