Come on, guys. This thread seriously needs to get bumbed, as well as this whole forum. Noboby comes on here, but for the viewers who do come here, please get a bit more enthusiasm and start to get in the Apprentice mood.
Anyway, try to find as much news and details as possible, and watch out for adverts too.

I have searched the internet for pre-Apprentice news, and so far I ahve found 2 pieces of info, though 1 of them is more likely to be vital:

The contestants go to London, dressed as animals, where they sell sweets to children, who seem to be disappointed rather than delighted.
Sir Alan Sugar and the contestants were found nearby Lloyds of London, on Lime Street.

Honestly guys, your maths is atrocious! if it were to start on the 21st of February, that would make it 22 days to go, as of today, the 30th January...

It doesn't look like its starting on the 21st. The BBC press office site doesn't mention The Apprentice for that week.

Sadly I think it will start on March 21st. Maybe the BBC doen't want it to coincide with Dragon's Den.

Not to lure you away from here.. but I posted on The Internet Forum last year. Karen Bremner, Mani and Tuan were/are regular posters there who gave quite a bit of inside-information.

Recently a poster has started posting who claims to have been fired in the last series.

Can't wait till it starts.....

And...I'm s , s happy Sir Alan's back after all the speculation that he might be replaced by the dreadful Duncan Bannatyne

I don't think "The Apprentice" is going to be on until after the 2nd of March

The opera "The Applicants" will be on BBC2 some time between 24 February-2 March 2007

"Kombat Opera Presents...

"...a full operatic interpretation in a new series of contemporary musical comedies from Richard Thomas, creator of the award-winning Jerry Springer – The Opera"

http://www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice/proginfo/tv/wk9/

Comic Relief Does The Apprentice - BBC ONE
Sir Alan Sugar's abrasive style comes to Comic Relief. To raise money ten celebrities battle to build businesses that call for discipline, teamwork, creativity and hard work. Succeed and the team survives. Fail and their celebrity status won't save them, because the following day Sir Alan's infamous boardroom beckons and someone will get fired
http://www.rednoseday.com/whats-on/b...apprentice.php

"Red Nose Day" is on Friday 16th March 2007, "Comic Relief Does Fame Academy" launches on Saturday 3rd March.... so "Comic Relief Does The Apprentice" is likely to start in between these two dates....

....which means that "The Apprentice" might not start until after the 16th March 2007

*Edit* ....according to post #3 it's set to start 21st March.

I heard sometime ago that Sir Alan's show is going to be on BBC1 cause of it's succeful run on BBC2. Would that be a god step cause I've read on some DS theards that BBC2 shows like the Kumars, Have I Got News For You and others aren't so good on the main channel.

Hopefully really soon, am so looking forward to it!

I think you're maybe right, perhaps it should have just stayed on BBC2 as it was one of its most popular programmes.

Although, if it means it getting more viewers on BBC1 then that's certainly a good thing. They should have actually shown it on BBC1 last year after the success of the first series back in 2005.
