I'm not saying she doesn't deserve it.

I'm pretty sure it would even itself out in terms of busy/quiet periods.

If you think how many were at the ball, times by £60, then minus the cost of production (£2000?) you'll get a figure of how much she makes from one.

I'm sure she has sponsors. Not many, but more income all the same.

Sorry if this is over analytical, I love figures, and money.

Aaah that explains it

I have a brother like you

Loves all things associated with figures

I always say he got the Maths gene and there was nothing left when I came along

I think she's rich beyond my wildest dreams. She may or may not be wealthy, but sheearns a living doing something she clearly loves - that would do for me

Well if she is rich , it hasn't spoiled her .

She is very down to earth and normal

And adores her dancing

I can't believe there are questions as to whether she is rich!

L-O-A-D-E-D, says it all, doesn't take a genius. I bet she does the whole dinner party thing, with her rich friends too.

Do you mean that in a bad way?

You don't need to be rich to enjoy a socialable dinner with friends!

You do if you are hosting in your large air conditioned conservatory attached to your huge converted barn manor house in Surrey.

I'm just kidding. In fairness, I hope to make a lot of money out of my chosen career, and wouldn't appreciate some A Level student who didn't know me at all specualting on how much I earn't and whether I was a snob.

The road she lives in doesn't have any Barn manor houses .

Its in a slightly less than salubrious area of Purley , but still a bit up up market because of the locality .

But its Semi detached and was probably bought at a much lower price than its worth now

When I have my lessons (which obviously isn't as often as Karen holds her social classes) I have to travel from where I live near Liverpool down to Kent . . . so if I leave my house just after 8am I get there for about 2pm.

Worth every second and more.

It sure is, I'd give anything to be able to do it, I'd let nothing stand in my way as it means everything to me.

And I know it does to you as well.

I totally agree with everything you just said. I never let anything get in the way. I actually plan my uni work round it instead of the other way round. How bad is that Strange thing is my grades have gone up since I go dancing so its all good really

It just annoys me so much how it's all so few and far between for me at present. I think I need to move to South Africa!

Then I could make everything work out just the way you have!

Great stuff - its all about striking a balance and anyway whats the point in being successful if you're not enjoying life - Karens motto I believe

I get to drive to Croyden and back to buy a sink from IKea
