Why have all the stars disappeared? it took us ages to get them and now nobody has any

I never noticed...Glad you did!Maybe it's part of their plan, seeing if we'd use them etc.

I think the mods decided they weren't a good idea. The thread from the mods, asking us for our opinion, has also gone. I don't think they were a great success, as it just gave some spiteful people an opportunity to mark us down.

I think it maybe because we were kind of abusing the system and voting for our favourite threads in a sort of popularity contest ??

I think probably the stars weren't a great idea... at least not in the way they were intended to be used... for a forum like ours (especially now the show is over) we all just clubbed together to put stars on all the popular threads... and for our threads to not have stars made them look sad and lonely and somewhat inferior

It was just a 'test run' from the mods. They probably thought in the end that it was not a good idea after all...

I agree it wasn't the best idea they have come up with. Especially on this forum!

So it looks like all our campaigning was just for an experiment - ah well at least we ha the stars for a couple of days

And L&V never got their stars

Never used on other forums, wasn't much point here either, cos all the threads are great (if slightly scary sometimes, yes I'm looking at you GMR fans!).
