It's happened. Fame Academy has ruined my enjoyment of American Idol
Four down and they're all awful. Does Kimberley hog the camera ALL the time?
Trenyce is the only one so far who even sounds as if the words music and singer can be related

The only one I enjoyed was Julie. Charles aka Will SmithJnr was a real let down. As for Miss America (Kimberley) I have an irrational hatred of her. She's nowt but a fame junkie.
Let's hope next weeks better, or is it me being cynical

all i could think was 'how embarrassing and cheesey is this???'
i thought the presentation of the pop idol final 50 countdown to 10 was much more tasteful and professional. the show tonight was a little tacky, cheesey and just really laid back!
then, the singing was fairly pants too. i thought Trenyce was good, along with kimberley and julia.
charles should not have gotten thru - i thought he was fairly flat when he was singing.
Kimbereley just did my head in - she was being too friednsly to everyone and pretending to be their best friends, and she hogged the camera a lot!!!
julia deserved to go thru definately. and i dont think her and kimbereley are that good mates, they just seemed to put up with eachother for the sake of the cameras.

i was watching the results show, and my dad came in and watched it too. now my dad's american and he was cringing at it all, and laughing his head off. now that really says something if my dad thinks the same way as me!!!

Thank goodness I'm not the only one who thought this but she didn't go through so that's good. I honestly thought it would be her and Julia but it wasn't to be.

After really enjoying last weeks show, I was so looking forward to tonights installment but I feel really disappointed, thought the whole thing was pretty dire, but I'm glad Julia and not Kimberley 'look at me' got through!

However, here's hoping next weeks show gets better!!

I'm not sure but it sounds like after the top 2 of each show go through there will only be 8 finalists, so I'm assuming that all those rejected may perform again and the top 2 from that show get to go through too.

Am guessing at the mo, but it sounds something like that!!!

The population of the United States is about 275 million. This is they best they could do? These are the cream of America's crop?? And how cheesy were they! I was cringing in my chair, embarrassed to be an American.

From what I've seen so far, the British Pop Idol contestants were a thousand times better. No contest.

This is only the first lot we've seen tho. lol. So we could see better talent in the next couple rounds. And i felt that people didn't really shine until the top ten in the first season.

And...I think Kelly could woop Will's butt anyday.

And I also agree that Julia is hot!
