Does anyone have a Durabrand DVD/VCR combi and know how to make it multi region?
The question is in the title really. i just bought one from asda and need to make it play my region 1 dvd's. anyone know how?

First problem is to find out what make it is, Durabrand is just a label that Asda use.

Its a Durabrand AD980BD according to the box and the instruction manual if thats any help?

Got any pictures of it? Then we can see if it's a clone of another manufacturers unit? |

Just looked on the asda website but theres no pics on there. is there another way of seeing if its a clone? The VCR part is on the eft and DVD on the right(when facing it)

Would this hack help.....
This is for the Duraband DVD player 1001 Switch on player. Open the lid. Press stop on remote then enter 2379. This will give the opportunity to change region select by cursors preferably region 0 and press ok. Player will now play any region. I've tried this on the DVD model 1000 and it works perfectly, and I would like to submit this in the Multi-Region Hacks forum. |
