Anyone else feel this way, perhaps it was just this weeks choice of songs? Dave |

I am always amazed when the dances finish so quickly,I often think they come to an abrupt halt.
Can't say i ever listen to Phillip or Holly talking either and I like Phillip! It just doesn't 'grab' my attention in the same way SCD does. |

Ah - thanks! Re the songs: I actually didn't mind the choice of music, but to be honest I think at this stage that it makes much difference what music is playing in the background - they are concentrating so hard on staying upright that musical interpretation comes a very distant second. Most of them didn't finish their routine at the same time as the music stopped! Maybe it will improve as they become more proficient...... |

Just heard Kyran on Five Live saying that, while it is in his nature to really apply himself, practice hard, get to grips with the steps and be competitive, he is really struggling with 'grace and elegance'. He said that he feels like a 'gorilla in a sequin suit'!!!
Aaah - he's now definitely my favourite!! |

![]() Me too and I still miss Strictly but I find the ads on Dancing on Ice drive me insane!! It really spoils the mood!! I am enjoying it each Saturday night and like Kyran who seems great fun and a bit of a showman!! Dancing Girl |

It just still lacks a certain something.
It doesn't feel like such a close knit community that SCD feels like and the interviews lack the entertainment as do the training clips. It is a nice show to watch but no way fills the SCD gap on a Saturday night. Kyran makes it a bit more interesting but it is lack lustre although I take my hat off to the 'celebs' as what they manage to do on skates is outstanding. |

You watch SCD for the whole package; whereas I think half the audience for DOI only watches to see if anyone falls over.

Hello to all SCD Fans.
So you are using DOI for the fix, makes two of us. If you remember my thread Greytop's SCD I have a thread for DOI with the news and clips etc. Why not pop along to continue the fix! http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/s...d.php?t=492831 |
