My girlfriend has one of these boxes, she woke up the other day and turned it on and all it says in the middle of the screen is Disk Error.
Is it broken or can it be fixed?
Try switching it off at the mains socket, hold down the "OK" button on the front of the box and keep it held down while you switch the mains back on. With luck, it will reformat the disk and re-start. You will lose anything you have recorded but at least it's back on the road.
