Yep; the first message in the discussion thread about it explains what's changed.

It's linked from the news item, the downloads page and the RSS feed.

Nigel will this form the basis of an OTA in the near future?

When I know the answer to that, I'll post it.

I'm keeping an eye on the Toppy updates. I'm especially keen to see "freeview playback" functions added. I've had a play with a Sony DVD/HDD box which has the playback compatability. Only BBC channels broadcast the Metadata at the moment. I sound the Series Record function a vital feature, reminds me of my days with TiVo

I know there are TAPs out there, like Jags EPG and their good at their job but it would be nice to see series recording built into the EPG, perhape "P", "R", "S" <--- (Series) as you cycle through pressing the OK button the the remote to record a prog?

The Sony box I had delt with Series Timers in such simplicity in itself. I'd setup the timer in the EPG and when it had recorded that program it automatically updated that programs entry for the next program in the series until you told it to stop - simple but affective. It also saves pages and pages of timers

That sounds like a recipe for disaster. What if there is a glitch in the EPG metadata which means it could not find the next episode at the time the recording finishes? Does the data include a "Last episode of series" flag?

Perhapse there is alot more going on in the background but from the timers list there is only one entry per programme that updates once the recording has been done. I really don't know how the metadata system works but it seemd to be reliable.
