3 scraps roaming fees
Mobile phone network 3 has abolished roaming charges for its UK customers in seven nations including Italy, Australia and the Republic of Ireland.

I wonder if o2 will follow suit seeing as it's network is a pan-european network since the merger.
Same goes for Orange with it's operations in different countries and T-Mobiles as well. All good for the consumer I guess. |

Hmm I am going to Australia in 6 months, could be worth getting a 3 phone to use while I am out there to call home/Text.

A pity that all the mobile companies charge international rates for calling from the Isle of Man.
